On Friday, 16 October and Saturday, 17 October, members of the Rowe Group and Proven Project Management teams travelled through the South West for two days of project visits, professional learning and team connection.
The tour provided an opportunity to see how projects are progressing, better understand development activity across the region and learn directly from colleagues who have contributed to their planning and design. Experiencing projects on the ground allows our team to reflect on the decisions behind them, consider lessons from their delivery and share knowledge across different disciplines and career stages.
Friday’s itinerary included visits to Binningup, ABN South West, Vasse Town Centre, Birdwood and InTown in Cowaramup, Spindrift and Witchcliffe. After a full day on the road, the team stayed overnight in Busselton and enjoyed dinner together.
On Saturday, the tour continued with visits to HomeHQ Busselton, Piacentini and Wanju before concluding with lunch at the Treendale Farm Hotel.
Time away from the office also gave team members the chance to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas and connect outside their usual project teams. With Rowe Group and Proven Project Management teams involvement in the South West continuing to grow, these experiences help build a broader understanding of the region and the communities in which we work.
This was the first of two tour groups, with a second South West study tour planned for early next year to give more team members the same opportunity.
